Making Mater for Chair-ity

December 1, 2020 by Angie

This kit from Kristin Cronin-Barrow was practically made for scrapping these photos - I mean, Santa's Workshop?!?

Making Mater for Chair-Ity – a digital scrapbook layout by Angie Key.

Journaling

It is with immense pride that I share with you my father’s latest work of art – the child-size Tow Mater Adirondack chair and toy box! This is his donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio’s 8th annual Chair-ity Gala. Mater will go up for auction on November 10th with proceeds to benefit the RMH of San Antonio. Based on the character Mater from Pixar’s Cars, the chair is made of cedar and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The light runs on a AA battery pack, and the back of Mater’s “truck” serves as a small toy box. This work of art will be up for auction on November 10th, 2018. (As posted on Facebook by Jim Flinn’s proud daughter, Angie Flinn Key.)
